We’ve invited a special guest speaker, Natalie Worobel, MA, LPC, to speak with us about Parenting in a Digital Age – how to help our children (and ourselves) navigate the tricky and ever-changing digital world of smartphones, online apps, gaming, etc. Gain insight into psychological, sociological, and developmental impacts of screen time while also learning tips to support our children and keep them safe online.
Natalie specializes in working with digital media overuse/addiction (i.e., social media, video games, information overload, porn, and shopping), in addition to anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, with a focus on developing a sense of balance, improving communication, and parenting skills in this digital age. This talk will be geared towards elementary and middle school-aged students, though she also specializes in counseling teens and adults. To learn more about Natalie, visit her website.
Also, hear what the PTSA is doing to support Meadowlark and how the school is spending your fundraising dollars from the 2022 Gala, ask questions, and stay for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee Meeting! (Stay tuned for a virtual meeting link, in case you can’t attend in-person.)
