As you may have heard… The Meadowlark PTSA is hosting its 2nd Annual Mavs Movie Night on Friday, Sept 8th!

This year we are asking OUR MEADOWLARK STUDENTS to help choose the movie – with a “Penny War” fundraiser! What are the options? Super Mario Bros, Encanto, Super Pets, and Coco.

Through September 5th, students will have the opportunity (during their free time during the school day) to promote the movies they would most prefer to see and/or demote the ones they don’t prefer. Every vote matters – they can either add points to certain movies or take them away. It all depends on the coins they choose to place in each respective “jar”!

To help facilitate this, the PTSA has set out four, 5-Gallon water jugs on a table in the main entrance of the school displaying the movie options available.

Whether they raid their piggy banks, look under the couch cushions or dive under the car seats looking for spare change, your student can have a voice in which movie is played at this year’s Mavs Movie Night!!
