On October 13th, Meadowlark students welcomed the Colorado National Guard and members from the Drug Enforcement Administration, who landed at Meadowlark in a helicopter to celebrate Red Ribbon week.

One of the special guests was Captain Jeff Powers, a Meadowlark parent, who was the second highest ranking officer at the ceremony. The following video was created by 5-6 teacher, Damian Tate.
