Wish you could recycle your old toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant containers, squeeze pouches, glue sticks, and other hard to recycle items? You can!
Meadowlark has partnered with Terracycle and the school gets $1 for every pound of accepted items that we send in for recycling!
Simply deposit your items in the labeled bins inside the main entrance to the school and our amazing volunteer will take it from there! (There will also be a bin for squeezable pouches in the lunchroom, so tell your kids if they’re taking “cold lunch”!)
We can collect:
- All brands of empty writing instruments, glue sticks, watercolor dispensers, empty paint sets, and flexible packaging (the packaging these supplies come in).
- All brands of squeezable snack plastic pouches and caps.
- All brands of mouthwash bottles and caps, toothbrushes, deodorant containers and caps, floss containers, and toothpaste tubes and caps.
**Please make sure your items are as clean and empty/free of product (i.e. ink, glue, paint, toothpaste, deodorant, applesauce) as possible!**
Potentially more items to come! See below for items we’re currently able to accept:
