Erie’s Juneteenth Celebration – 2023

Come celebrate with us Saturday, June 17th from 5-9pm in Old Town/Downtown Erie!

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans. It is also often observed for celebrating African-American culture. Originating in Galveston, Texas, it has been celebrated annually on June 19 in various parts of the United States since 1865.

Once again, Meadowlark PTSA is partnering with and other local schools to sponsor and participate in this amazing event focused on education, and empowering and embracing this historical milestone!
