2) once you have created your new account, go to: and press the “Join our Group”, click the “Join our Group” button, sign in with your account and complete the membership form.

Dear Meadowlark Community,

Many Hands Make the Load Lighter…….It Takes a Village to Raise a Child….or Pull Off a Carnival and Silent Auction……. Alone We Can Do So Little, Together We Can Do So Much……Teamwork Divides the Tasks and Multiplies the Success……Individually We Are One Drop, Together We Are An Ocean…..

You get the idea right?

Do you have memories of playing some of these?   Basketball Connect 4, Basket Toss, Cake Walk, Can Toss, Down the Clown, Duck Match, Fishing Game, Football Throw, Lollipop Tree, Mystery Door, Ping Pong Toss, Prize Table, Ring Toss, Soccer Kick, or the Time Warp Game? Maybe you still jump in there when at an amusement park or parking lot carnival!

Do you have memories of you or your kids participating in a – Photo Booth, Tattoo Booth, Face Painting, Human Hamster Balls, Jousting, Bike Course or Kayaking?  Well, if you do, you know how much fun these are. If you don’t – the Meadowlark Mingle Carnival is the perfect place to create these memories.

Have you ever been to an event where you purchased game/booth tickets for your kids or bought them food at the concession stand?  Well, we will have those too!

Of course a carnival and silent auction wouldn’t work if you didn’t include Ticket Tables, Prize Tables and Auction Assistants!

Raising up leadership in our children takes an example from us of involvement, of lending a hand to another, of seeing a need and filling it.  Raising up leaders in our children takes us, each of us, to model what we want to see in them. Please take time to review all the opportunities to model hands on involvement at the Meadowlark Mingle and choose something you can do.  I have included a personal note from Jessica Diamond, Meadowlark parent and Team Captain for the Meadowlark Mingle. I am asking that each of us take the time to read it and personally consider volunteering for one thing on her list.

Do it with your kids or lend a hand while they are somewhere in the Carnival on campus making memories of the Meadowlark Mingle.  It is up to you.

As always, thank you. We are always grateful for your partnership, for your children, and for your hands on involvement at Meadowlark School.

Dear Meadowlark Community,

Thank you so much to all the generous families who have donated items and money to the LC baskets and auction. Our team is working round the clock to get all the items uploaded in the software program to launch in just 7 days!! Today is the LAST day to contribute!! Please have all your items at the Front Office by the end of school or make a monetary donation at PTSA.

If you have a PK-4th grader, ticket order forms will be in their Friday folder today. They need to be sent back to the Front Office by next Friday, May 3 with a check made out to Meadowlark PTSA. Tickets will be sent home with your oldest student on Tuesday, May 7th. ONLY discount ticket packages will be sold in advance. Discount packages are not available the day of the event.
You will also be able to buy tickets online starting at 4:00 PM today. To improve the experience this year, we have decided to use to host our auction online and accept payments online for ticket sales. The only way to participate in the auction this year and buy online tickets is to “Signup to bid” at the Meadowlark Mingle auction website.

The signup process only requires an email address, mailing address, and phone number. You also have the option of registering your credit card during the signup process so that you can complete your transactions online and speed up your check out process. If you decide not to register your credit card, you can pay for your auction purchases at the Mingle via credit card, check, or cash. Reminder: LIVE at 4:00 PM on 4/26/19. These tickets will also be sent home with your oldest student on 5/7/19

We will also be selling tickets before and after school all next week in front of the main entrance.

VOLUNTEERS!!!! We are extremely low on volunteers…A Carnival requires many hands to help out with running booths, concessions, prizes, and more! We have hired some staff for our bigger elements to help out, but we need you!! This is Meadowlark’s ONE major fundraiser of the year. Helping to make this event a success in funds and fun, means we need an hour or two from most families. Please take a look at your schedule and see where you can lend a hand. Have a high school student? Sign them up too!!
